Vitamin D deficiency is a global health problem. Despite the significant advances made in medicine in this century, vitamin D deficiency remains a worldwide epidemic. It is estimated that more than 1 billion people worldwide are deficient in vitamin D.

 

Vitamin D is essential for child growth and development. Deficiency of vitamin D in children can lead to rickets, which is mainly characterized by hypocalcemia, delayed tooth eruption, bone growth disorders, abnormal bone calcification, deformity, anemia, and susceptibility to respiratory infections. During the growth and development of children, vitamin D deficiency can also affect the function of the nervous system, muscles, hematopoietic system, immune system, and other organs.

Ferr is a universal intracellular protein that stores iron and releases it in a controlled fashion.
